BASIC FUNCTION:
The Assistant Football Coach will report to the Head Coach and will work within a rigorous environment developing high-functioning student-athletes as assigned. The individual will also have responsibilities in the areas of recruitment, academic support, and skill training as it relates to developing a successful NCAA Division I football program.
The Assistant Football Coach will have a strong presence in working with the university, athletics department, and the community. Will engage in activities and subcommittees outside of the football program.

- Demonstrates proven leadership abilities through prior playing and/or coaching experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level OR previous playing and coaching experience of the sport at a high school recognized regionally or nationally for its athletic achievements.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to utilize the latest advances in technology.
