The Assistant Director of Whole Child SupportCulture & Climate Analytics serves as a liaison between the Division of Whole Child Support and the Division of Student Affairs and Advocacy to lead the strategic oversight of the District's culture and climate positive supports and data management. In collaboration with the Executive Director of Whole Child Support, the Assistant Director assists with the development of systems to monitor data compliance with policy and regulatory requirements, monitor internal compliance, and provide oversight of the positive behavior interventions (PBIS) and build a culture of positive behavior supports and belonging for our students. The Assistant Director provides support, training and oversight of school-based Deans of Culture, School Culture Facilitators and PBIS Coaches. The Assistant Director works under the leadership of the Executive Director of Whole Child Support to lead all Student Belonging workstreams. The Assistant Director of Whole Child SupportCulture & Climate Analytics works closely with the Senior Director of Student Affairs and Advocacy to ensure that attendance and behavior interventions led by the Division of Student Affairs and Advocacy are mutually reinforcing alongside the positive climate and culture supports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution, Doctorate degree preferred.
- At least 5-7 years' experience managing programs within a K-12 school or district setting. Demonstrated experience working in a school setting as a teacher, administrator or support staff focused on culture highly preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of management experience supervising teams with clear experience providing management, coaching, and support to staff members.
- Certification or training in Restorative Practices, CHAMPS, Social Emotional Learning techniques, Calm Classroom or other mindfulness strategies, Mental Health First Aid or other similar programs is highly preferred.
