Purdue University is seeking an experienced manager to assume the role of Assistant Director of the Purdue Testing Services (PTS). The Assistant Director works closely with the Director in supervising a combination of full-time employees and student staff. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Director is to organize and lead the day-to-day operations for accommodated academic exams for students with disabilities. This includes maintaining a close collaborative relationship with the Disability Resource Center (DRC) and instructors across campus. In addition to this responsibility, the Assistant Director also assists with the vendor exams (e.g. PearsonVue, ETS, CollegeBoard, etc.) as well as institutional advanced credit exams that PTS offers.

- The targeted annual salary range for this position is $62,000 - $68,000

As the Assistant Director, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, management, or related fields. (Master’s degree preferred)
- At least six years of professional higher-ed student support experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
As the Assistant Director, you would bring:
- Professional writing and editing skills
- Management skills and a demonstrated ability to lead a team of professional staff
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere and work collaboratively with campus partners and test vendors
- Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Ability to balance interruptions while also maintaining productivity
