Champlain College is currently searching for an Assistant Director of Visit Experience to join an accomplished team of successful enrollment professionals in our Undergraduate Admissions office. Candidates for this position must demonstrate a commitment to the goals and mission of the College's strategic plan to provide a radically pragmatic education. We seek a colleague with a passion for guiding students and their families in the college search, admissions, and enrollment process through campus-based and virtual visits and events.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Admissions with initiatives aimed toward achieving undergraduate and transfer enrollments
- Develop, plan, and manage campus-based and virtual recruitment events to attract first-year and transfer students and their families
- Oversee all admissions visitors to campus; lead and participate in on and off-campus recruitment activities/events.
- Monitor and track enrollment and event participation data to achieve enrollment goals and inform strategies
- Coordinate with key members of the Admissions team in the hiring, training, mentoring, and management of student ambassadors for events.
- Deliver information session presentations and assist with admissions application evaluation
Requirements:

Adaptability, continuous learning, strong critical judgment, a commitment to diversity and teamwork, and providing quality services are some of the staff competencies required for success. Experience with new technologies as well as collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data will be a critical component of the position. Excellent communication skills, as well as strong organizational and analytical skills, are required. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of admissions or higher education experience are required. Preference will be given to candidates with event planning experience. The position requires work outside of traditional business hours including weekends and evenings throughout the year both on and off campus. Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
