Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for ensuring proper training and supervision of all associates at the Oceanside Restaurant, Pool Servers, Recreation Pool and Beach associates, Pico and Paloma and Oceanside to go. Pool experience Assistant Director is to deliver prompt, courteous service to associates and guests in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.

- Oversight of Pool Cabanas (sales and service)
- Oversight of Elite Chairs (sales and service)
- Oversight of Pool Towel Distribution
- Oversight of Pool Rentals
- Oversight of Pool Welcome
- Additional Focus (Timeliness, Cleanliness, Friendliness, Functionality, Teamwork)
- Additional Focus (Daily Experiences - Build a Boat, Popsicles, Margarita Backpack, etc.)
- Communicates and directs openly between Recreation and Oceanside teams
- Office / Planning - 8a-10a daily
- On the Pool Deck - 10a-6p greeting, talking with guests, resolving issues
- Reports to both Director of Recreation and Director of Food and Beverage
- Previous General Manager experience in a similar Food and Beverage operation required.
- Previous experience working with J1 and H2B Visa program preferred.
- Must be able to work outdoors in the elements (varying extremes)- rain, wind, heat, cold.
- Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to navigate the (tiered) pool deck and surrounding area with ease.
- Able to lift, push, pull, bend, squat with ease.
- Must have a strong attention to detail as well as strong customer service skills.
- Must be Food Handler and TIPS certified.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays and various shifts (lunch and dinner).
