Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent clinical knowledge, and a commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
- Review and analyze documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal care
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient care situations
- Oversee the maintenance of medical records and ensure confidentiality
- Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices and incorporate them into the department

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in acute care settings is highly desired
- Familiarity with home care services is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively lead a team and promote a positive work environment

Pay: $54,969.07 - $66,199.31 per year
