Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated loving and caring LVN, who is looking to work in a team inspired environment in a small friendly non-profit nursing home. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing preferably with long term care experience. This is a non-skilled Medicaid-only home with 45 residents with a wonderful work-life balance. Our new ADON will be welcomed into our team as part of our collaborative and mission-oriented workplace. The right ADON will bring a joyful and energetic nature to our patient and loving environment for our residents. Our home is looking for a ADON that is hard-working and compassionate. An experienced ADON will benefit from joining a management team with decades of experience working at Sarah Roberts where they have built their career.

Responsibilities:

• Staffing-interviewing and hiring of Certified Nurse Aides
• Maintain adequate staff on floor on a daily basis
• Floor coverage as needed
• Scheduling- making weekly and monthly schedules for all nursing staff
• Assist with Central Supply ordering
• Responsible for administrating and updating immunization records. Ensure the recording of Flu/Hepatitis B/PNEU immunizations. Sending consents to responsible parties.
• Monitoring MARS/TARS
• Monitoring skin books
• Maintaining and updating seating chart/room trays for all residents
• Any duties assigned by DON and/or Administrator

Skills:

• A bachelor's or associate's degree in nursing
• Experience in Nursing
• Good critical thinking, communication and leadership
• Good planning and problem-solving
• Ensure nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies
• Knowledge of Excel, Word

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 per year
