Director of Facilities
As we continue to grow and expand our teams, we are seeking an experienced Director of Facilities to lead our Facilities/Maintenance team and drive innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. As a Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all ALI Pharmaceutical Manufacturing’s (ALI-PM) facilities.
This position will be located at 4410 S 102nd St., Omaha, NE, working with different management levels and support personnel in other office locations.
The impact you will have:
- You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the company's facility functions, ensuring the highest level of product quality and operational efficiency.
- You will lead and support the Facility department/team.
- You will ensure all equpment and support systems (Boilers, HVAC systems, Water systems, etc.) are properly installed and maintained to maximize production capacity and limit downtime.
- You will provide support for the generation and execution of Installation/Operational/Process Qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- You will perform investigations to resolve equpment and facility related deviations.
- You will generate, update, review, approve and/or implement Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Preventative Maintenance (PM).
- You will follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Safety regulations.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for an exceptional Director of Facilities to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success in the smaller pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, extensive technical expertise and strong leadership skills (including hands on training and willingness to be on the floor).
- Bachelors Degree of Science in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of facility experience.
- Experience in facilities inspected by regulators (e.g., US FDA, USDA, etc.).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
- Experience with HVAC, regrigeration, boilers, electricity, plumbing and pharmaceutical/food-grade processing equipment.
- Ability and willingness to be hands on in a supervisor capacity and work directly with facilities and equipment when needed.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
