Are you a motivated, service-driven individual? If so, we need to talk! We are looking for someone to assist the Deputy Chief Clerk in administering elections, including accepting nomination petitions and papers, campaign finance reports, performing layout and proofing of ballots, coordinating polling places and poll workers, performing testing of all voting equipment and certifying election results and issuing certificates of election. You will also act as liaison between the department and other county agencies and/or departments. We want a self-starter who wants to make a difference and give back to their community. Requirements
Preferably associate or bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or a related field, plus some clerical and computer training. Proven word processing and spreadsheet skills, such as Microsoft Windows, Excel, and other needed office software. Two to four years progressive work experience in government or legal administrative environment. OR, any acceptable combination of experience and/or training.
