Assistant Director of Residence Education - Training & Development
Provide supervision and support for assigned hall coordinators and assist in hall management, including supervision, facilities, and code of student life administration. Administrative oversight of annual student staff selection, training, staff on-boarding, staff evaluation processes, and on-going development. Support the development and implementation of the Residence Education Model: a curricular approach for staff working with residential students during the year.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Student Development, Counseling, Higher Education Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
- Working full time experience (typically 3 years or more) in housing administration or managerial experience in cultural, educational, and Development program planning in a college or university environment.
- Previous supervisory experience (typically 1-3 years) including experience supervising student and/or secretarial staff.
- Exceptional administrative skills, including a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to establish priorities, accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem solving skills, including experience analyzing and resolving conflict, successfully navigating group dynamics, and effectively building teams.
- Experience serving in an on-call duty rotation at the collegiate level.
- Strong record of building teams and partnerships with colleagues and key campus stakeholder groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, public speaking and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the values of social justice, inclusion and equity. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral, in working with diverse populations of students and staff.
- Supervisory experience of professional live-in staff or graduate students.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in staff Training and student staff selection.
- Experience in creating and overseeing staff development plans, hiring, and evaluations.
- Experience working with residential curriculum models.
