The Center for Brain Recovery (CBR) at Boston University is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as the Assistant Director, Finance and Administration. CBR is a cutting-edge research center focused on understanding, treating, and preventing neurological disorders such as stroke, brain injury, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and more. Our interdisciplinary center is dedicated to unraveling the complexities of the brain, with a goal to improve brain function and enhance the quality of life for those affected by neurological conditions.
Reporting to the faculty Director, the Assistant Director oversees the day-to-day financial management and operational needs of the Center. The Assistant Director independently maintains the Center's budget and manages both the pre and post award grant administration processes. As the sole administrator for CBR, this position oversees and executes a variety of operational and administrative processes including employee hiring and onboarding, protocol compliance, payroll processes, sourcing and procurement, event coordination and other areas as required.
Successful candidate will be motivated, self-starter with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently, multi-task across a variety of functions and proactively problem solve required. Required SkillsA Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience required; Masters Degree preferred.
