Role Overview:
The Assistant Dean of Nursing (ADON), under the Dean of Nursing’s direction, will oversee clinical oversight, faculty support, and student support at their campus. This role involves collaboration with the campus leadership team to make decisions aligned with the vision and values of the nursing program.

Role Overview:
The Assistant Dean of Nursing (ADON), under the Dean of Nursing’s direction, will oversee clinical oversight, faculty support, and student support at their campus. This role involves collaboration with the campus leadership team to make decisions aligned with the vision and values of the nursing program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing clinical instruction and fostering academic-practice partnerships to ensure students have access to expert practice through clinicians and faculty.
- Conducting site evaluations to assess the suitability of clinical facilities for the curriculum.
- Collaborating with the Nursing Lab Manager to plan skills and lab experiences, optimizing the use of equipment.
- Supporting faculty through development workshops, curriculum review, and providing feedback for growth.
- Addressing student concerns and fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation.
- A Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from a recognized institution.
- At least three years of experience as a registered nurse and in teaching within a nursing program.
- A current unencumbered RN license in the state where students are located or a qualifying consortium state.
- An earned doctorate (EdD, Ph.D., or DNP).
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervisory roles and curriculum development.
