The Opportunity
The main functions of this position include (1) the oversight and coordination of the Division's financial planning
activities including the compilation, analysis, and distribution of management review packages for Long Range
Plans, Plans, Updates, and Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), (2) oversight of the preparation and analysis of
Division Office P&Ls for the above planning activities as well as for month - end Actuals, (3) being the liaison
between Division Finance and the various divisional financial planning groups around the world plus Corporate
Finance, and (4) oversight of all Division-level daily and month-end sales reporting.
What You'll Work On
BUSINESS SUPPORT: Reporting to the Division Controller with shared responsibility to the supporting function lead, provide business and financial counsel and direction to the division/function. This includes financial analysis and counsel related to new product development opportunities as well as licensing and acquisition analysis. Also included is the profitability analysis of existing products to allow management to make proper business decisions to enhance margin growth. The position will aid in reviewing area financial Plan/Update sales/margin to ensure reasonable and consistent with management expectations. Finally, the position will be responsible for working with the functional leaders in forecasting the Long Range Financial Plan which will identify growth and investment potential for the division as well as identify any gaps versus expectations over the LRP.
FINANCIAL LEADERSHIP: Set expectations of the financial organizations' role in support of the business strategies, including alignment with other functional organizations. Lead Division financial key processes such as, LRP, plan, and/or standard costs. Work with Corporate in establishing financial targets for the Division. Ensure accurate financial planning and reporting of actual results for the division/function. Also, for both Planning and Reporting, this includes responsibility for the identification of the need for and creation of ad-hoc analyses to address a diversity of business issues and opportunities in a dynamic environment.
FINANCIAL CONTROL: Establish and maintain internal process, procedures and controls which ensure the integrity of financial assets and accuracy of financial statements and forecasts; avoid errors and surprises; and comply with Division/Corporate policies and procedures and GAAP.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years or more years of diverse finance experience. Demonstrated success in managing finance professionals. Strong leadership competencies are a must: set vision and strategy, build and inspire, know the business, drive for results, make complex decisions, and encourage an open environment.

The base pay for this position is
$136,000.00 - $272,000.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
