We are looking to hire a FT Assistant Controller to work out of Provo, Utah. Elevate Health Sciences is a subsidiary of Nu Skin.

We're searching for an experienced Assistant Controller to support our team and reinforce our reputation as a leader in manufacturing nutraceutical products.
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Assistant Controller should have strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills. This person will be responsible for the integrity of accounting information and compliant business processes. The position requires at least five years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience with standard costing, cost accounting and internal controls implementation, particularly in a manufacturing environment, is highly desirable.
Position Details:

• Responsible for all financial reporting and accounting including month-end close, all related journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Recommends and oversees financial objectives and policies.
• Recommends and implements improvement to efficiencies of financial processes.
• Responsible for fixed asset and capital expenditure reporting.
• Involved in plant operations and costing duties.
• Maintains internal controls to safeguard and mitigate risk to company assets including inventory management.
• Supports all aspects of internal and external audits.
• Responsible for compiling and ensuring the integrity of data required by regional, corporate and regulatory agencies.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge in Public Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in general accounting/finance
• Manufacturing/cost accounting experience is highly desirable
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Demonstrated experience with financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
• Good communication skills and ability to work on leadership team
• Computer skills: Accounting Software, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
• Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
