Assistant Buyer

Honey’s Place Inc., a leader in the distribution of romance products, is looking for full time, entry level Assistant Buyer to work out of the corporate offices in San Fernando, CA. The perfect candidate will be well organized with excellent communication skills, enthusiastic self-starter, success driven and goal orientated person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist team in requesting information from foreign and domestic vendors related to products.
• Create and manage sales orders and purchase orders for both vendors and customers based on sales and current trends.
• Arrange transport of goods and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage & track approval process for product samples, color samples & packaging components.
• Coordinate projects with graphic artist, photographer, printer & social media persons
• Work with warehouse team on product cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Enter price changes and markdowns.
• Assist warranty department.
• Run reports for analysis, creating and manipulating spreadsheets in Excel, documents in Word, and communicates daily.
• Basic administrative tasks such as filing, answering phone, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
