Assistant Branch Manager
The responsibilities of this position include but not limited to directly assisting the Branch Manager of the location. We are seeking someone with strong, proven operations experience and proven outside sales experience to help grow this existing branch.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and help lead a highly motivated, well-trained team that consistently offers excellent service to all members.
- Support the maintenance of effective employee relations within the branch.
- Promotes a positive image of the bank; develops and maintains effective business relationships with customers, employees, and retail partners; serves as a liaison between the branch and corporate departments.
- Accurately monitor key products and sales metrics of the branch team to ensure profitable and sound business practices as well as the highest level of service for members.
- Apply and evaluate security and audit policies and procedures, ensuring the branch follows federal laws and regulations.
- Accurately track and report on branch activity, including but not limited to number of transactions, teller accuracy, loan volume, teller and loan sales, and new accounts.
- Ensure branch team maintains ongoing required training to increase knowledge of various topics and skillsets.
- Maintain minimum quality control errors by reviewing member documentation upon completion and holding team members accountable.
- Offer guidance and assistance to team members in solving complex problems or member requests.
- Function as primary manager on duty in absence of the Branch Manager.
- Performs other job-related duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years management or supervisory experience required.
- 4 years financial services or banking industry experience required with increasing levels of responsibility.
