Job description

Spurwink's Affiliate Practices program is seeking an experienced administrative support professional to work with our team of growing independent contractors/affiliates. The successful candidate should have strong work ethic, be organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, and be computer savvy. Should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with our team of support personnel. Good listening and communication skills are a must. Teaching and training experience helpful. Ability to type/keyboard accurately and efficiently is a priority. Experience in a mental health or medical setting working in Electronic Health Records is preferred. This is a Monday-Friday position that pays $18.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience.

DUTIES:
  1. Provide direct support to Affiliate Practices Manager in identified tasks and project completion.
  2. Collaborate with Practices Manager on biweekly timesheet review and dissemination.
  3. Provide backup training, consultation and supervision to Data Collections staff.
  4. Maintain weekly and monthly reporting review including but not limited to unit/services tracking reports, unbillable claims report, held events report, and MaineCare denial reports.
  5. Onboarding of new Affiliate consultants, related database updates, support in credentialing processes, orientation and training of new providers, maintenance of related documentation.
  6. Liaison with Practices Manager and other departments (i.e. HR, IT) in order to efficiently monitor and update individual Affiliate and program status trends.
  7. Respond to all Affiliate inquiries promptly and courteously. 8. Other duties as assigned by the Affiliate Practices Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirements: Must be proficient with Microsoft office suite and have 2-3 years' experience in office or administrative role. Experience with medical or mental health billing preferred.
Minimum Competency Requirements: Must be highly organized, adaptive and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills including ability to work collaboratively with team members.
