JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Define and deliver projects to meet strategic priorities; framing decisions around business drivers, scope, time, cost and quality
• Partner extensively with Product, Technology, Business Development, Risk Management, Finance and other functional groups on key projects, from ideation to implementation
• Work with SMEs, Product Manager and other stakeholders to define project success criteria and metrics to exhibit progress against those success criteria
• Take complete ownership of projects and initiatives, carefully managing business case, scope, schedule, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies and interim milestones
• Ability to distill complex information into digestible content for stakeholders at all levels
• "Uncomfortable" with ambiguity - seeks out ambiguity and turns fuzzy requirements or updates into clear communications
• “Sees around corners;” anticipates project risks, issues and needs before they materialize
• Deliver on milestones and objectives, in line with the overall project plan
• Manages and is accountable for the completion and follow through of assigned projects
• Documents how the project scope will be defined, managed, controlled, verified and communicated to the project team, stakeholders and customers
• Manages, plans and coordinates project activities to ensure goals and objectives are identified, documented and accomplished within agreed schedules and recognized constraints
• Accountable for data governance
• Generates project reporting (leading and lagging indicators)
• Accountable for stakeholder communication
• Experience in leading large teams and driving change
• Manages projects actual and forecasted budget
• Actively manages risks and issues
Manages vendors associated with project deliverables

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
• 2+ years of experience in Project Management
• Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and Change Management
• Experience with the delivery of a new product or significant product change
• Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution
• Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management
• Ability to develop excellent relationships at all levels within an organization
Experience with Smartsheets, JIRA, Confluence, or Sharepoint

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Strong plus - prior experience building and testing software
• Strong plus – experience developing products using customer and design-centric practices
• Strong plus – direct experience leading delivery based on agile based frameworks (Scrum, LeSS, XP, SAFe)
• Ability to interact and influence at all levels and across functions within an organization
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time
• Experience in Asset & Wealth Management domain
