Plans, develops, and executes a comprehensive Asset Protection program for the field. Designs program methodologies that drive partnerships with internal stakeholders and delivers profit improvements through shrink elimination.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Develops and executes an Asset Protection program in the field.
- Plans, develops, and executes short- and long-term strategies to protect company assets, including physical security critical infrastructure, operational excellence, and loss elimination.
- Coordinates and maintains partnerships with all company departments to positively impact Asset Protection metrics.
- Develops high quality training to support loss elimination.
- Evaluates operational processes for areas of opportunity and shrink elimination and develops plans to mitigate losses.
- Establishes standards and performance expectations for Asset Protection goals.
- Identifies theft and fraud activity within the field and partners with management to resolve cases.
- Manages a team of Asset Protection professionals, including performance managing, coaching, and providing opportunities for growth and development.
Nature and Scope
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
