Asset Protection Investigator

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of the store premises and assets
- Monitor and patrol the store to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security equipment
- Respond to alarms and investigate any suspicious activities or incidents
- Work closely with store management and law enforcement agencies to address security concerns
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize inventory shrinkage
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, investigations, and any policy violations
- Assist in training store employees on security procedures and best practices

Requirements:
- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Possession of a valid certification in loss prevention or related field is a plus
- Excellent report writing skills to document incidents accurately and clearly
- Ability to conduct effective surveillance and criminal investigations
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
