A well established maker of Marine Generators is looking for a production assembly associate to follow assembly instructions and assemble generators. There is plenty of room to grow and get promoted into more technical and higher paying roles once you convert within this company. This is a temp-to hire opportunity to continue your growth path. You will be responsible for reading marine generator assembly instructions, processing and planning an assembly plan and then turning a wrench and doing it! This role will be good for someone who once you get the hang of it will require little supervision. This is an amazing opportunity that has at least one year in a mechanical, electrical assembly or similar role or someone fresh out of trade school.
Job Duties-
- Assemble Diesel Generator sets and hardware per the bill of materials and work instructions.
- Receives work orders for the job and plans details of working procedure and tools.
- Supplies own tools including basic hand tools, wrenches, sockets, pliers etc.
- Some electrical wiring is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend assembly instructions and put it into action
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Must interact well with others, maintaining a positive service oriented attitude.
- Minimum one year related experience in mechanical, electrical assembly or similar.
Pay: $21-$25/ hour based on experience level
Location: Ballard (Seattle, WA)
Accessible by public transportation and on site parking available.
