Assembly Technician

As an Assembly Technician, you will assemble electro/mechanical parts, pieces, or assemblies using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area as part of one or several manufacturing processes. This is a mid-level position and any candidate who shows initiative learning our systems, helps improve our processes and meets customer deadlines will have opportunities to advance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, wiring schematics, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Proficiently utilizing a variety of tools such as terminal crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers among others
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations while maintaining order, safety, and cleanliness
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products as instructed
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma, Associates Degree or military training in a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years mechanical assembly experience required. Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Basic reading skills, must be able to follow directions
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills. Microsoft office 365 is heavily utilized in our work environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks
• Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
