We are seeking a Bio-Med Technicianposition to join our Engineeringdepartment. This position is a full-time, scheduled 40 hours per week and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Provides and documents installation, inspection, calibration, repairs, and planned maintenance of most classes of medical equipment.

• Education:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in biomedical or electronics technology from technical school, and/or equivalent training and experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current, valid applicable driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements.
  • Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES); Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET); or Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES) preferred.
  • Certification may substitute for one year of required experience.
• Experience:
  • Two years medical equipment service experience required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
• Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Effective English communication skills (both verbally and in writing).
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment.
