ASSEMBLY MECHANIC

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $24.00/Hourly

Summary:

• To assist in the assembly of various aerospace systems, the mechanic will also assist in the assembly of sheet metal products.

Purpose:

• To support the manufacture of its core products to maintain the highest quality standards to FAA/AS9100 requirements and customer specifications.

Essential functions:

• Assist the assembly tech in the assembly of various aerospace systems.
• Supports and practices continual improvement of the Dynamo Aviation QMS.
• Must be a detail-oriented highly organized team player. Listens to and follows instructions and guidance from the technician.
• Must be a team player and highly motivated.
• Must be mechanically dexterous and able to use hand tools.
• Must observe and adhere to all safety standards
• Must be to communicate to technicians and management on job-related issues.
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts
• Must provide hand tools of the trade.
• Maintains required logs and reports.
• Regular attendance is required as scheduled.
• May perform other duties as required.

Minimum qualifications:

• The candidate must be personable, and team-oriented,
• Candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision, act decisively, and have above-average communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.

Experience: 1 year in a manufacturing atmosphere is preferred.

Education: A minimum of a high school / GED is required.

Working conditions: Sitting, walking, and standing 10 hours a day, will use arms and fingers.

Day Shift: Scheduled 10 hours a day, four days a week.

Night Shift: Scheduled 8 hours a day, five days a week.

• Able to lift 30 lbs. as required.
• Overtime is frequent, upon request.
