Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Art Therapist to join our team. As an Art Therapist, you will facilitate art therapy groups with seniors. Pre-licensed clinicians are also welcome to apply and will be considered depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in research and be knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations. The position can grow into F/T work for the right fit and is flexible (design your own hours).
Income potential dependent on direct service hours and licensure (approximately $30-70/hr)
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate has a Masters degree and is experienced in art therapy Licensed in the state of Oregon (ATR, ATR-BC, LAT), other licenses may be considered (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
- Associate or pre-licensed candidates will be considered dependent on relevant experience.
- Experience treating behavioral issues, anxiety and depression
- Experience or interest in running therapy groups
- Experience w/ senior citizens or interest in working with this population

We provide art therapy groups and therapy services to children, families and senior citizens. Our goal is to provide high quality art therapy groups that emphasizes the journey of the creative and artistic process as a life enhancing skill. We strive to allow inclusion and participation by participants of all skill levels, including those with physical disabilities and/or cognitive impairments.Our counseling offerings help families heal from trauma and overcome challenges related to behavioral issues, school problems, attention-deficit disorders, anxiety, and depression. We place a strong emphasis on combining art and play based therapies and other evidenced based techniques to teach the skills necessary to help children and families succeed.Our offices are conveniently located on SE MLK and NW 23rd Ave in Portland, and offer both in person and tele-health appointments, groups are scheduled at senior care facilities in the Portland area.
