Art Director - Privacy Responsibilities:
- Independently identify, scope and create high-quality deliverables to communicate privacy and regulatory concepts to a range of audiences, from consumers to employees to regulators
- Work in collaboration with cross-functional partners, including engineers, researchers, product managers, and product and content designers to define opportunities, develop concepts, and bring ideas to life.
- Implement a cohesive visual style and tone, thinking about each project holistically and how it fits in the entire Meta product ecosystem.
- Create sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and/or design specs necessary to guide the development of art and products.
- Clearly articulate strategic thinking and design decisions.
- Work independently on multiple projects at a high caliber level, keep project timelines on track and show progress. Manage work streams in an organized way that guarantees on time delivery and a clear workflow.
- Collaborate with leadership at the Privacy org level and within pillar product teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High proficiency in art directing illustration, animation, iconography and design systems
- Presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience creating quality work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at a time
- Experience setting aside ego, and taking design feedback and incorporate it
- An understanding of how to incorporate research insights into the work
- Knowledge in adapting illustration systems for cultural relevance
- Understand that ideas come from anywhere and anyone
- Demonstrated knowledge of Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in privacy work or in highly regulated industries such as payments, healthcare, education preferred
- Highly adaptable to designing for multiple internal/external audiences
