Art Director

As an Art Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping our client's visual identity and creating compelling, impactful visuals that resonate with the diverse customer base. You will lead a team of creative professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative campaigns and design solutions that drive brand engagement and customer loyalty. The Art Director serves as a tastemaker and influencer within the company to keep us at the forefront of trends and innovation. The ideal candidate possesses a combination of creative, technical, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Design

• Combine artistic and conceptual direction to shape content, products, and experiences.
• Establish art department standards for production, productivity, quality, and client service.
• Delegate and lead key designs for presentations and programs.
• Lead and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are original and compelling.
• Offer insights and expertise on creative and client projects.
• Engage and ideate with a team of designers and producers.
• Stay updated with the latest design and technology trends.
• Organize and structure your work for team reviews and client presentations.

Leadership

• Actively explore ideas for professional growth.
• Stay informed about competitor activities and broader market trends.
• Discover and introduce innovative creative tools and mediums to the team for potential project applications.
• Continuously assess and refine workflows and processes for better efficiency both within and across departments.
• Foster a cohesive team environment while promoting individual growth.
• Engage actively in client meetings to deeply understand their business goals.
• Represent and communicate the agency's vision and values both internally and externally.
• Maintain composure in challenging situations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of graphic design experience.
• Outstanding typography skills
• Mastery of the latest versions of the Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, and the ability to quickly adapt to new software as projects dictate.
• Understanding of the AI tools and how they operate such as Midjourney, and Runway.
• Ability to conceptualize within budget, and timeline constraints, and consider the target audience.
• Proactively finds solutions and provides pivots as opportunities arise.
• Broad cultural knowledge extends beyond arts and mainstream culture.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
