Job Description
Specialty1 Partners has an exciting opportunity to join our team of talented Area Operations Managers who lead multi-site operations within our network of specialty dental practices. We are looking to add an AOM in the Atlanta market with most locations in the Atlanta market and 2 locations located in Florida. This position will be based out of a home office anywhere in the assigned area and will require frequent travel to practices in the territory. The primary role of the AOM is to provide day-to-day operational support to his/her assigned practices and help execute strategic guidance from the Regional Director of Operations (RDO), supporting all non-clinical operations of the specialty dental practices under his/her preview. The AOM will report to the Regional Director of Operations (RDO) and work with multiple departments, including Finance and HR, in support of his/her practices.

Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day operational support to office managers, partner doctors, and team members of 10-20 specialty dental offices, escalating issues when needed to RDO and other functional partners for swift resolution. The AOM must build excellent relationships with all practice-level team members, establishing trust to effectively lead through influence.
- Building efficient and successful teams by providing guidance and coaching on professional development to office managers and other practice leaders, playing a vital role in their long-term success.
- Providing input to the RDO in development of practice-level strategies, and supporting the execution of strategies by solid tactical planning and execution. The AOM will be a leader in site-level change and execution, considering available resources, weighing the risks and challenges involved, and determining the most efficient way to achieve strategic objectives while delivering quality results.
- Assessing practice-level performance over time and working with the RDO to develop and implement action plans to achieve business goals and address issues / challenges
- Implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting key business tools, systems, and processes within the practices, including ensuring OSHA & HIPAA guidelines are followed.
- Helping practice leaders establish and maintain healthy cultures within the practice. In addition, establishing a strong network within the area, including developing and conducting effective area trainings & meetings, leveraging outstanding group presentation skills.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in multi-location management in dental, healthcare, retail, pharmaceutical or other related industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, superior project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to draw valid conclusions; apply sound judgment in making decisions, and make decisions under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration preferred
