Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Director to oversee our operations in multiple locations. The Area Director will be responsible for program management, program development, relationship management, budgeting, and supervising staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee programs and services across multiple locations
- Develop and implement program goals, objectives, and strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, community partners, and funding sources
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Monitor program outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve quality of services
- Provide supervision and support to program managers and staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination of services
- Oversee budgeting and financial management for the centers
- Must be able to travel to perform quality control audits
Qualifications:
Directors shall be twenty-one (21) years of age or older, and provide documentation of one of the following educational levels:
a. Bachelor’s Degree or higher Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university. (Determination of “related field” shall be made by the Division)
b. Bachelor’s Degree in a non-related field from a regionally accredited college or university plus one of the following:
Four years of experience in early childhood education
Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)
Birth – Pre K Credential
c. Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, plus six (6) years of experience in Early Childhood Education
d. Eight years of experience in Early Childhood Education and completion of one of the following, within two years of employment: a
Child Development Associate Credential
Birth – Pre K Credential
Director’s Credential or the equivalent
Technical Certificate in Early Childhood Education
