Job Description
We are looking for talented and motivated entry level, seasonal, Architectural Designer interns. Candidates, will have the opportunity to efficiently and effectively participate, design and deliver successful building projects according to the latest design philosophy, approach, processes and technology. Involvement within project teams from schematic design through construction on projects, reviewing shop drawings and related submittals, coordinating consultants in all phases and directing the production of the projects are also part of the internship experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Pick up red-lines. Revise comments from other Peer Teams. Follow directions.
- Builds model floor plans designed by collaborative Design Team.
- Learn the process and procedures for coordination with Structural, Civil, MEP Consultants instructed by PM.
- Learn building construction through guidance to draft wall sections and plan details.
- Consultant coordination after receiving consultant procedure training.
Job Requirements
Current participation as a 3rd or 4th year, traditional or non-traditional, architectural student at an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, a must.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Revit knowledge preferred. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and with a strong work ethic and personally driven to consistently meet project design and performance goals. Ability to work independently as well as with various disciplines and types of people and committed to being an effective, contributing team player
