The Architectural Design Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the design process within an architectural firm or a construction company. This role involves a combination of creative design expertise, project management skills, and team leadership. The Architectural Design Manager is responsible for ensuring that architectural projects align with client requirements, regulatory standards, and the overall vision of the organization.

What you will be doing:

• Provide creative direction and leadership to the design team.
• Oversee the conceptualization, development, and execution of Architectural Designs.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to generate innovative design solutions.
• Manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously from concept to completion.
• Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
• Engage with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and expectations.
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback into the design process.
• Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Facilitate communication between team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement advanced technologies like 3D laser scanning and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance accuracy and efficiency in surveying work.
• Ensure that design outputs meet high-quality standards and comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Conduct regular design reviews to identify and address potential issues.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in Architectural Design.
• Integrate innovative design concepts and sustainable practices into projects.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience in Architectural Design and project management.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as Revit, CAD, and other relevant tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry best practices.
• 5 years of proven experience in As-Built Surveying or similar experience.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and laser scanners.
• 3 years of proven Revit experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with project stakeholders and conveying survey results.
• Knowledge of advanced surveying technologies, including 3D laser scanning and BIM.
• Familiarity with relevant local regulations and industry standards for surveying and documentation.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• LEED certification or experience with sustainable design practices preferred.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and visualization tools.
• Experience with construction administration and site supervision preferred.
