The Spirit of the Position:

LAZ’s continued growth has created an opportunity in the Accounts Receivable department for a talented system-oriented professional to join our team as an AR System Operations Lead. The ideal candidate will be responsible for support and training on all LAZ AR systems, and as such will have strong technical and creative thinking and communication skills.

The position will support the AR team with all facets of our AR systems and processes. These systems will include Epicor, Business Central, Subscription, Paris, JPM receivable Manager and others that are added as we move forward.

The position will work with the LAZ operations and help with system training, operations support, trouble shooting, and policies and procedures. This position will often work closely with operations to communicate and support regional and facility personnel working in the field.

This position is at the Home Office located in Hartford, CT.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and administer training programs for all LAZ AR systems- (Zuora, Subscription, and Business Central)
• Create and complete test plans with AR team and consultants testing for all new systems or significant changes to existing systems.
• Creation of training documents for AR systems as needed.
• Onboard new users to AR systems and procedures.
• Train staff and users on AR systems and procedures.
• Cross train internally with other AR leads to help facilitate support with Internal/External users.
• Help facilitate the automation across the AR function.
• Support and train when needed for Lockbox upload processes in AR systems.

• Communicate and interact as needed with regional and facility personnel working in the field.
• Help support AR Manager on all AR systems and tasks as needed.
• Work on Special Projects for AR.

EDUCATION:

BA/BS Degree in Accounting or commensurate experience

SKILLS:

Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and effectively interface and communicate both through written and verbal means.

Excellent computer skills, including high and proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook).

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
