Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze various financial reports related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or inquiries related to accounts payable
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as SOX requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or MBA preferred
- Previous experience in accounts payable or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping and debits/credits
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Agris
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies or trends
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry
- Familiarity with technical accounting concepts and practices
