Apprentice Electrician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work alongside experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical trade. Duties:

- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and rural settings

- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams

- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs

- Perform basic electrical tasks under the guidance of a licensed electrician

- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assigned tasks

- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations

Experience:

- Previous experience or knowledge of electrical work is preferred but not required

- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment is a plus

- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components is beneficial

- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Skills:

- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations (NEC)

- Familiarity with both low voltage and high voltage systems

- Ability to work effectively in both residential and commercial settings

- Experience with frame carpentry or other related construction skills is advantageous
