Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Solar Sales Appointment Setter. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads and setting appointments for our solar sales representatives through door-to-door canvassing. Your primary objective will be to identify potential customers, educate them about the benefits of solar energy, and schedule appointments for our sales team to conduct in-home consultations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned residential areas to generate leads and identify potential customers interested in solar energy solutions.
- Engage with homeowners in a friendly and professional manner to assess their energy needs and educate them about the benefits of solar power.
- Qualify leads by gathering essential information such as current energy usage, roofing conditions, and homeowner's interest in solar energy.
- Schedule appointments for our solar sales representatives to conduct in-home consultations with qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments scheduled, and outcomes of interactions using CRM software or designated tools.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for lead generation and appointment setting to meet or exceed targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, solar products, and incentives to effectively communicate value propositions to potential customers.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams regarding customer preferences, objections, and market insights to optimize lead generation efforts.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up activities efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule with the availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for door-to-door canvassing.
- Preferable (but not required): Experience in direct sales, telemarketing, or appointment setting.
