Research assistant to assist on the following subjects: chefs and culinary trends in China; the history of wine and hip hop; and graphic novels and food. Student may also be asked to work with local HudsonValley organization to establish community links for Applied Food Studies.

PREREQUISITES
- Completed Introduction to Gastronomy at CIA
- Completed Applied Food Studies introductory class at CIA; a Food Studies course at another higher education institution, or upper-division social science and humanities courses at another higher education institution
PREFERRED PRIOR EXPERIENCES
- Completed Research Methods for Applied Food Studies course at CIA or
- Completed a research methods course at another higher education institution
