Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Design systems, and develop, test, and implement software applications. Use Java/J2EE, Micro Services, Spring framework, Spring boot, Restfull/SOAP web services, Java Script, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Weblogic and Tomcat web applications servers, kafka, and AWS cloud services and physical linux servers to develop software solutions. Monitor and control all phases of the development process, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Analyze information to recommend and update software and enhance existing software capabilities. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, Applications Development, and model development. Establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Use jenkins and uDeploy deployment tools. Utilize in-depth knowledge of Applications Development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgements. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users/clients, engineers, programmers and others on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes. Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts in the team, including training on new or modified equipment. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems Technology, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer, or related position involving designing systems, and developing, testing, and implementing software applications. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full term of experience must include: Leveraging design patterns, data architecture and structuring to understand requirements and prepare technical documentation; Knowledge of full Software Development, Lifecycle (SDLC) including project lifecycle and change management to create plans for requirement analysis, system design, testing and deployments; Utilizing Java/J2EE, Micro Services, Spring framework, Spring boot, Restfull/SOAP web services, Java Script, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Weblogic and Tomcat web applications servers, kafka, and AWS cloud services and physical linux servers; Utilizing continuous integration/continuous deployment tools jenkins and uDeploy; Utilizing Relational Databases Management System and SQL to design database models; Object Oriented Programing and Shell/Perl scripting to develop Unix and Scheduler jobs; Unit and Integration, and end to end testing with automated tools and centralizing tools; and Mockito and JMock frameworks to setup Junit test cases, performance tests and metrics.
