Job Summary
The Custom Development team in Lynnfield, MA is looking for an Application Developer with passion for learning, developing high quality software, solving complex problems and becoming part of a smart and innovative team. Are you able to balance a variety of tasks related to requirements definition, software system design, development, testing, trouble-shooting, and maintenance? Interact with multi-functional teams from the product definition stage through product release? Then you're exactly who we're looking for!
The incumbent must demonstrate strong technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work on development projects independently and ensure that business specifications and end user requirements are met and projects are delivered on time. The incumbent must have the ability to provide effective peer support and help troubleshoot complex issues.
This role has some hybrid flexibility however the candidate must be able to work on-site at the Lynnfield, MA office.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:
- Plan, test and develop applications for cross-departmental needs
- Development and support of ASP.NET MVC project applications
- Development and support of Angular/.NET Core project applications
- Collaborates with other team members to implement websites and other web projects.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the following skills…
- C# programming using Visual Studio
- Experience with Entity Framework (or other ORM mappers)
- Ability to read and write Microsoft T-SQL scripts as required
- TFS/Azure DevOps (i.e. git)
- Proficient in JavaScript/ECMA 5.6, HTML5, CSS3
- Solid or primary experience with Microsoft MVC and Razor pages
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services
- Experience with dependency injection (necessary for Sitecore).
- Angular/TypeScript Development
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complexity theory
- Knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux
- IT/Digital experience working with enterprise level CMS/ecommerce solutions like Sitecore/Optimizely
Skills and Competencies:
- Solid organizational (detail oriented), analytical, customer service, written and oral communication skills.
- Conceive and implement fully functional and high performing software solutions
- Tackle difficult problems and come up with innovative software solutions
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve our product, our process and our team
- Able to clearly express ideas and concepts both written and verbally
- Able to problem solve and understand engineering design tradeoffs
- Self-motivated
- Must be a team player and ability to produce high quality coding while adhering to coding best practices.
Optional Skills:
- Understanding and experience working with Agile Methodologies.
- Experience using Visual Studio, Laravel, angular, react, Vue, asp.net, and .net MVC a plus!
- Web site team authoring, team programming experience is preferred.
- Low code development
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) report generation.
