Work Schedule: 

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, plus an afterhours/weekend on call rotation. Applicants hired into this position can work remotely from most states.

We are seeking a Senior Applications Analyst - Resolute HB / PB to:

  • Plan and lead projects related to Information Systems in our EMR (electronic medical record) system. 
  • Lead in the development of workflows, system configuration, change documentation and support of operations on application functionality.
  • Use your excellent communication skills to share information with users within the department and organization.           
  • Have a good understanding of technical infrastructure when applicable such as networking, data interfaces, and server administration.
  • Provide consultative Information Services advice to departmental and organizational leadership and guiding other employees within the department..

Education:

Minimum - Associate degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field

Two (2) years of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree 

Preferred - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Work Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of small to medium to scale solutions.
  • Demonstrated success applying critical thinking to identify problems and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success teaching and mentoring

Preferred -

  • Demonstrated success in design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions using the applications, tools, and platforms relevant to the position
  • Three (3) to five (5) years progressively responsible experience in an IS applications field.
  • Demonstrated success working on or leading initiatives that use agile methods.
  • Experience in information services or technology, direct clinical care, health care operations, or health care administration.
  • Healthcare subject matter expertise including at least five (5) years experience in a health system, academic medical center, or health payer organization.
  • Experience supporting systems and/or operations in a 24x7 healthcare setting.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - None

Preferred - 

  • Vendor (e.g. Epic, Oracle, other) certifications as relevant for the position, per department guidelines
  • CPHIMS, PMP, ITIL
