Appliance Sales Associate - Bellingham

Description:

Judd & Black Appliance is an 80-year-old, locally owned and family operated independent appliance and barbeque retailer with six locations in Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom Counties.

Summary of Position:

Salespeople are responsible for assisting customers with product purchases and entering sales orders into POS. Accurately complete all sales orders and track them through the delivery or pickup process. Be responsible for merchandising a designated area of the store (clean, price and upkeep of displays to insure they are accurate & complete). Candidates must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

Wages/Schedule:

· Full Time – 40hrs per week.

· Weekends Required.

· Commission Sales Position $36K minimum.

· $85,000 when meeting minimum sales goals. (Commission & Bonuses)

· $100,000+ for high achieving individuals.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Previous retail sales experience.

· Capable of consistently meeting minimum sales goals.

· Capable of qualifying customer needs and closing sales.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Have a professional and courteous attitude.

· Punctual and dependable.

· Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

· Capable of using standard Windows based computers/programs.

· Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Be able to effectively handle customer problems and conflicts.

· Be able to read, write and speak English.
