Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and emails from prospective tenants and providing them with information about available properties
- Conducting property tours for potential tenants and showcasing the features and amenities of each unit
- Assisting with the application process, including collecting necessary documents and conducting background checks
- Creating and maintaining accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and other relevant documentation
- Handling tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Utilizing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track leads, follow up with prospects, and manage tenant relationships
- Negotiating lease terms and rental rates with prospective tenants
- Upselling additional services or amenities to current and potential tenants
- Collaborating with property management team to ensure proper property maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in leasing or customer service roles preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of leasing contracts, fair housing laws, and property management regulations is a plus
