The Role
The AP Analyst I is a proactive problem solver with the ability to interface with all levels of the business. The AP Analyst will support the business by reviewing invoices, posting approved invoices, and assisting with the month-end closing process. A strong candidate for this role is well-organized and able to triage competing responsibilities.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
Receive and review domestic and international invoices for proper approval, compliance to policy, and tax treatment prior to entry in Oracle. Follow up with approvers for missing information (documentation, GL coding, approvals, tax categories, etc.)
Post approved invoices in USD and foreign currencies into Oracle and file with other invoices awaiting payment.
Investigate and resolve issues associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders. Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communication and the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and e-Payments according to established schedule or as required. Review invoices against payment register for accuracy.
Responsible for Month-End Closing process for multiple companies, including balancing reports, identifying errors, and resolving issues.

We’d love to hear from people with
1-2 years of experience or training related to Finance, Accounting, or Banking. An equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Beginner to Intermediate skillset in Excel
Associates degree in related field preferred
Large accounting software package experience (Oracle strongly preferred)
Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse stakeholders, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities

$26 - $28 hourly
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
