SalaryArlington Animal Hospital is seeking a hardworking Animal Care Coordinator, who is friendly, professional, and able to keep calm under pressure. Arlington Animal Hospital is a fast-paced environment, that offers routine veterinary care, emergency services, surgeries, paint management, grooming, boarding, and pet supplies. Therefore, multitasking and ability to work as a good team player is a must. Animal Care Coordinators are the first line of communication with our clients and set the tone for the clients experience here at Arlington Animal Hospital. The qualified candidate must have excellent listening skills, be compassionate, be understanding of the client’s emotional state, and be able to communicate the hospital’s medical recommendations and policies politely to clients. A typical day for the Animal Care Coordinators at Arlington Animal Hospital involves greeting clients, answering phone lines, directing client’s questions, scheduling and confirming appointments accurately, completing transactions, cleaning and stocking the retail area, and routinely lifting 40 pounds. A general knowledge of Cornerstone, vaccine schedules, and parasite prevention is essential. The candidate must be willing to adapt to changes and be able to create a welcome and caring environment for clients. Hours include weekends and late evenings.
