Form of workFortune 1 company looking to hire several Sr Android Developers. Hybrid in Bay Area, CA 2 days per week. Rolling long term contract. Can utilize third party vendors.
• What are the top 3 skills needed/required? - Android Core Kotlin Troubleshooting Android App
• What skills and/or experience would separate the top candidate?
o What makes a candidate profile stand out to you? - Prior experience in eCommerce domain Solid understanding of Android Core architecture and Test-driven Development.
• What will this persons day-to-day responsibilities be? -
1. Design build and ship high quality features for Walmart android application.
2. Unit-test code for robustness including edge cases usability and general reliability.
3. Work with data sources APIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
4. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• What is the project this person will be working on?
o How will they contribute to the project? - This engineer will build post transactions core and partner features for FY25 business initiatives.
• What is the makeup of the team? - Two full time Android engineers besides this role.
o If hybrid or in office role how many days a week will the candidate need to come into the office? This position has on-site requirements for two days each week Tue Thurs
