Form of workJob Description Analytical Chemist - Decatur, ILThis is a full time, exempt level position.Responsibilities:Duties will include performing assays and developing methods in support of the research division of ADM.The position will involve development and application of sophisticated instrumental methods utilizing LC/MS, HPLC, GC/MS, GC, ICP, ICP/MS, FTIR and laboratory robotics.Requirements:The candidate must have a minimum of a B.S. degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or a closely related field with at least 3 years relevant laboratory experience.Practice with LC/MS, HPLC, GC/MS and GC is preferred.Analysis of food, natural products, organic synthesis or fermentation systems is desired.Written and oral communication skills are critical.
