Analyst Programmer, Manager Decision Support Systems-IR Georgia State University The Office of Institutional Effectiveness/ Enterprise Data Management and Analytics (EDMA) is responsible for the collection, development, and maintenance of data resources to provide the foundation for all data analysis and reporting needs and supports the strategic planning and policy-making processes at Georgia State University. For more information, please visit https://oie.gsu.edu/our-services/edma/    The Programmer Analyst Manager will be responsible for the administration of the University Data Warehouse and for the day-to-day supervision of the programming team that supports the data warehouse.  WHAT MAKES GSU A GREAT PLACE TO WORK? Generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, tuition assistance, retirement, etc. A knowledge-sharing organization that works collaboratively with diverse partners. Professional development opportunity and mentorship A rapidly growing center within an academic setting  HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO Data modeling for new and existing Oracle databases. •    Converting data to a normalized, structured model. •    Maintaining the performance, integrity, and security of the data warehouse. •    Coordinate, schedule, and test upgrades to the data warehouse. •    Provide technical expertise to the programming team and end users.  •    Supervise the programming team and manage the day-to-day workflow. •    Serve as a liaison between business users and the data warehouse development team. 
Qualifications
Minimum Hiring Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.Preferred Hiring Qualifications: Work experience in higher education, particularly institutional data warehousing, is highly desirable. 
•    Advanced knowledge of relational database design and Oracle PL/SQL and SQL. 
•    Knowledge in Ellucian Banner student systems and PeopleSoft Human Resource Systems and PeopleSoft Financial Systems.  
•    Experience in data management in higher education. In-depth knowledge of database and data warehouse structures as well as business intelligence tools and system implementation.
•    Knowledge and experience with database administration, servers, enterprise systems architecture.
