Your work environment:

The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Within the Group, you will join the Group Compliance Department, within the AML Team.

Your job and daily missions:

As the AML Monitoring and Regulatory Manager within the AXA Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Group AML Officer to ensure the effective implementation of AML and targeted sanctions compliance programs across AXA entities worldwide.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting AXA entities in developing and enhancing their AML and targeted sanctions compliance programs, including policies, procedures, training programs, and monitoring processes.
  • Providing accurate, timely, and consistent AML targeted sanctions management information and reports to the Group AML Officer.
  • Leading AML and targeted sanctions technical compliance reviews at AXA entities globally, identifying compliance gaps and assisting in the development of remediation processes.
  • Overseeing AML and targeted sanctions systems and controls across the AXA Group and leading a team in the Group Compliance Centre of Excellence.
  • Acting as an escalation point for AML and targeted sanctions matters, supporting the Group AML Officer in dealings with regulators.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on AML and targeted sanctions matters, supporting the development of the Internal Control Framework, and providing training as needed.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 8 years of operational experience in a large international multiline insurer
  • Strong understanding of AML and targeted sanctions regulations, insurance, banking, and asset management processes 
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and operate AML and targeted sanction processes 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and French

Role Requirements:

  • Demonstrated high reliability, quality, and timeliness of deliverables 
  • Ability to effectively interact with senior management, regulators, and stakeholders in an international and intercultural environment 
  • Proficiency in writing and delivering presentations 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources
