The Airport Manager, Digital/Social is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to engage with passengers, promote airport services and amenities, and showcase the unique offerings and experiences available at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Through compelling content creation, community management, and strategic partnerships, this position plays a vital role in enhancing the airport's online presence and fostering meaningful connections with travelers. This position manages the digital asset and social media teams and works closely with the Airport Director of marketing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement a dynamic social media strategy aligned with the airport's brand identity, goals, and objectives, utilizing platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube.
Development of key messaging supporting passenger-facing products and services
Utilize social media analytics tools to track and analyze key performance metrics, evaluate the effectiveness of social media initiatives, and generate actionable insights to optimize content strategy and drive continuous improvement.
Content management of internal digital boards/monitors/screens
Creative concept development for recurring programs and signature activations
Cross-functional collaboration with various departments to coordinate response efforts that arise via social (re: Concessions, Communications, Safety & Security, etc.)
Support crisis-communication needs as necessary.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team to achieve organizational goals and objectives
Skilled in managing relationships effectively and multiple projects
Proficient in social media management, optimization, and measurement. (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram)
Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive content strategies that align with the brand’s voice, values, and goals.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track, track performance metrics, and generate insightful reports to optimize social media campaigns.
Experience in planning, executing and optimizing social media advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness, reach, and engagement.
Ability to build partnerships with stakeholders internally and external to the organization.
