Aerotek has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Tool Room Attendant to support Helicopter Assembly Operations.
- 1st Shift (5:30PM - 2:30AM)
- Over Time is Required
- Long Term Contract Opportunity
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Description:
- Aircraft Tools Experience is preferred / NOT Required.
- Ability to proficiently read Blueprints, Drawings and Instructional Technical Manuals.
- Must be able to perform routine and periodic inspections (daily and weekly) on tooling upon issue and return of all tooling items into the Tool room Department.
- Must be able to identify tooling items in need of repair and document the issues accordingly.
- Must be able to perform routine inventory audit checks periodically (daily and weekly) on tooling items when tasked.
- Ability to interface with both internal and external supplier/ vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check tools in and out for use
- Preventive maintenance (Track due dates and perform periodic inspections and required maintenance for production tools)
- Make new Tool Control Cards for new tools
- Update Tool Control Card( tool history / calibration)
- Write, track and file Lost Tool Notices
- File Tool Control Cards
- Update data files
- Repair/send out broken tools
- Assist Engineering with continuous improvement projects
- Inventory of production tools
- Receive in new tools
- Incoming inspection for new tools
- Send out and track hydraulic samples
- Receive in and file hydraulic sample results
- Track calibration and periodic inspection due dates
- Send out and receive in calibrated tools
- File calibration certifications
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be able to work independently (without supervision).
- Must be efficient using a computer.
- Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Candidates will be subject to lifting, carrying, pushing and climbing, and equipment
