Serve as the Company’s lead sales interface for aftermarket business, including management of key distributors and repair stations, airlines and ownership of aftermarket new business opportunities. This position will be responsible for ensuring aftermarket partners perform to established KPI’s including bookings, point of sale data, and target stocking levels. The position will closely monitor overall aftermarket trends for business forecasting purposes with a goal to grow the business faster than the market. The role will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business and determining aftermarket pricing strategies.
Position Duties
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and develop strategies to grow profitable Aftermarket Sales in collaboration with the Business Unit Managers and market partners, especially with new business and pricing strategies.
- Manages and supports the Commercial Aftermarket distribution sales channel through our distribution and repair station partners.
- Monitors partner KPI’s including bookings, point of sale, inventory, and on-time delivery.
- Responsible for direct airline retrofit or repair new business opportunities.
- Assists in developing and managing the pricing policy for airlines, MRO’s and distribution accounts.
- Provides accurate forecasting for short and long term bookings and maintains a sales process for tracking new business opportunities.
- Tracks development of competitive parts in the marketplace and coordinates actions to remedy threats to our respective business unit teams.
- Communicates and presents critical data, report summaries, market analyses and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Develops strong understanding of aftermarket segments, regions, and competitive landscape to drive and refine aftermarket strategy for sustainable competitive advantage.

Qualifications
MUST HAVES
- BS in Business, Engineering, or related discipline. MBA is preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial aerospace aftermarket distributors and/or repair stations.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in aerospace component sales or related aerospace work.
- Prior experience working for an airline, MRO, or aftermarket distributor would be a plus.
- Ability to travel 40% required.
- Proactive, self-starter with a focus on customer management and new business development.
- Strong interpersonal skills capable of developing lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong analytical skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to support partner KPI management and reporting responsibilities.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
